I heard about this a few years ago, but never in my worst nightmares would I have ever thought it was real. It couldn't be could it? John and I watched a documentary called The Cove a few nights ago and we were both in total shock the whole time. Please go to the website www.thecovemovie.com and educate yourself. John and I argue all the time about stuff like this. He doesn't feel like he needs to see it to know it happens and I say you have to see things like this to want to make a difference. It isn't real until you see it. You can rent The Cove at Netflix and I highly recommend it. You are pulled in the minute it starts. The more people that know about this and spread the word, the sooner it will stop. Go rent The Cove and post a link on your blog, facebook, twitter... or whatever it is you use. Please help make a difference!

I haven't seen the documentary yet, but have wanted to since it came out. I actually heard about it at a Japanese Restaurant where they had pictures of Dolphins on the wall.. that is when my friend told me about the situation. It is disgusting. It's appalling in these times of endless information sharing, how people are kept from the truth.. truths all around the world.. here in the U.S., abroad in Africa, Asia, South America, Europe, etc! How does this happen? Knowledge is Power!!!
P.S. I have seen this now. After I wrote this, I looked to see if I could find a free version to watch online.. and I DID.. yeah.. the beauty of having a student teacher is watching documentaries all day and updating my blog! That's pretty much all I've done the last 3 weeks.. many, many documentaries :P
